Full of Surprises!?

As we are closed tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday, once again my weekly Dojo is coming out a day early.

I thought this might a good time to reveal the destination of the Whole School trip this year:

Gulliver’s World in Warrington!

Due to the generosity of the PFA who are funding the coach travel we will only be asking for a contribution of £10 from you all (as we did for Blackpool Zoo last year.)

A letter with all details is attached. A paper copy is coming home tonight too. I am sure we will all have a fantastic time again.

So that is one “big school secret” revealed. The other “secret” that I will still keep for now is the title of the whole school show! As I said last week there will be clues (three – very subtle - clues have now been given already!). You’re welcome to try and spot them!

The title will be revealed to the Oak Class (and then to you all via Dojo!) on Friday 17th May which is the day after the Year 6 SATs finish.

Finally this has been a third week of “gifted books” arriving at school. You are spoiling us! Thank you. One book arrived without the usual “A gift from…” card. It might be that you want to remain anonymous but if you ordered the board book about Emmeline Pankhurst and would like me to add a note inside the book to say who has gifted it please Dojo me to say it was you!

I hope you all have a lovely long Bank Holiday weekend. A tense one for Sam and me with Leeds still in with a very slim chance of gaining promotion (but realistically probably not!)

See you all on Wednesday next week.
