The Big Reveal!
So as you can see from the attached poster the Whole School Summer Show this year will be... Disney’s Moana Jr.
The clues?
The first was very hard to spot. On the poster in the outside noticeboard the lettering for “Summer 2024? To be revealed” was coloured in with a Polynesian island sunset background.
Three weeks ago I wrote on my Dojo:
"The children love this anticipation - they know just HOW FAR I’LL GO to keep the suspense going!" (”How far I’ll go” is a song from the show.)
Two weeks ago I wrote:
"Clues have now been given already! YOU’RE WELCOME to try and spot them!" (“You’re welcome” is another song from the show.)
And last week I wrote:
“I keep telling them (Oak Class) there is no point MOANAing to me that I haven’t told them already”
That was the least subtle and I know some of you spotted that!
We are telling the children in Oak Class this afternoon. It will be nice to give them some good news after the hard work they have all put in doing their SATs this week. Oak Class will bring their scripts home after school with auditions to be held on Wednesday next week. The other classes will be given their parts later. As always there will be a part for every child in school and we would really appreciate your support in bringing them all back for the Wednesday evening performance.
A reminder that the shows will be on:
Tuesday 9th July at 2pm and Wednesday 10th July at 6pm. A letter with details about tickets will be sent home after the half term holidays.
Talking of half term we have one more week and then we break for the Spring Bank Holidays. How quickly this summer term seems to be going!
Don’t forget that the first week back after the Spring Bank Holiday we all go to Gulliver’s World on the Thursday. If you have not yet returned your child’s permission slip please do so as soon as possible.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
