Next Half Term Highlights!
Good Afternoon Everyone.
Yet another day early “Friday” Dojo. Tomorrow I will be out all day accompanying the children in Oak Class on a school visit to the Stockport Air Raid Shelters and Museum. It is another school visit for which Beech Hill are kindly lending us their minibus.
Tomorrow at 3.30pm sees us break for the Spring Bank Holiday. There is much to look forward to when we come back for the final few weeks!
Gulliver’s World whole school visit - 6th June
Sports Afternoon- 18th June
Family of Learning Trust Sports Event for Y3 children- 20th June
Oak Class Residential- 24th to 28th June
Moana Performances -9th and 10th July
Year 6 Leavers trips -16th and 17th July
More details about some of the events above will be sent out nearer the time.
One event that has just been arranged this last week is the PFA SUMMER FAIR. It will be held on Friday 5th July from 3pm – 6pm. Again, more details later about how this will work logistically but, for now please “save the date”.
Due to the date and time of the Fair the Good Work Assembly planned for that afternoon will be cancelled. The last one of the school year will now be on Friday 14th June (which is now moved from the original date of the 7th June to make it a little nearer the end of term).
The above events are only the highlights of what will be a very busy last seven weeks of the school year!
I hope you all have a wonderful half-term holiday. It’s Wembley for Sam and I this weekend hoping that Leeds can make it 6th time lucky in actually winning promotion through the playoffs.
We look forward to seeing you all again on Monday 3rd June.
With my best wishes,
David Perrin
